Founded in 2001, Special Kids Therapy provides funding to special health care needs children in the State of Ohio for therapies/activities not covered by insurance.   SKT constantly strives to bring new exciting opportunities to the special health care needs child.

In 2008, through the efforts of Hancock Leadership and many generous donors, SKT opened a multi-sensory playroom.

For most children and adults, the senses naturally work together to provide fundamental awareness of their body and the surrounding world. Some children and adults have difficulty in the process.  SKT’s Playroom provides a place where anyone can feel comfortable and in control.
